Valve Sense – Detecting and quantifying leaks

The software-based inspection system Valve Sense was developed in collaboration with our strategic partner i.safe MOBILE – the market and innovation leader in explosion-proof and industrial mobile devices.

It is based on the proven method of acoustic emission analysis. The digital solution combines high-quality acoustic emission sensors with innovative smartphones for Ex and non-Ex areas, equipped with Senseven software.

Thanks to its intuitive software, this intelligent solution is easy to use, automatically detects and quantifies leaks in valves, and offers structured data management.

Contents of the delivery

Our intelligent inspection system is supplied in a hard-shell case containing the following components:

• i.safe MOBILE Smartphone IS540.1
• IS-VS1A.1 measurement electronics
• Acoustic emission sensors
• Wave guide for hot and cold surfaces
• The Senseven app: Enables the inspection of valves for internal leaks, including an Expert Suite for live viewing of RMS and dB values as well as live audio. App for the inspection of steam traps available in BETA version on request.
• The Senseven Backoffice: for structured storage of all measurement data, automated reporting and further analysis Optional accessories Leather case for carrying your Valve Sense inspection system in the field (recommended)
