The LR70 makes it easy to switch from conventional lighting to LED technology. Because with its diameter of 70mm and the alternative mounting by means of a tube clamps allow conventional tube luminaires to be replaced without having to make any design changes to the machine.
This new product is not only an attractive solution for OEM machine builders to keep their lighting technology up to date and save costs in the long term. The LR70 is also ideal for retrofitting machines and systems in the retrofit sector.
In terms of tightness and robustness, it meets exactly the same requirements as the LR40, since the same materials are used. Thus it also withstands splash water, metal chips, lubricating oils and all cooling lubricants commonly used in machine and plant construction.
Like the LR40, the luminaire can also be rotated as required via mounting brackets and is available with a built-in 30° or 60° lens, enabling the light to be focused on a specific area. The LR70 is therefore the perfect luminaire for machine tool construction, as its properties meet exactly the requirements that are placed on a machine luminaire in this industry.
Thanks to its wide range of properties and configuration options, such as different light temperatures, types of cover, optics and length variants, the LR70 is a true all-rounder among industrial luminaires. It is therefore also suitable for use in sectors such as packaging machines, woodworking machines, printing machines, food processing machines, plastics processing machines, etc.
The LR70 is of course also equipped with the Eco mode. Here, too, illuminance can be reduced to 30 % by PWM signal.
The enlarged cross-section of the conductor paths on the printed circuit boards makes it possible to cascade up to three LR70 luminaires of the longest version. This means that machines can be illuminated over a length of approx. five metres with just one voltage source.
