The LR40 series is an additional alternative to the L/LO series. By processing robust materials such as anodised aluminium and safety glass as well as using an extremely chemically resistant adhesive, the LR40 not only withstands splash water, metal chips or lubricating oils, but also all cooling lubricants commonly used in machine and plant construction. Like the L/LO, the luminaire can also be rotated at will via mounting brackets and is available with a built-in 30° or 60° lens, thus enabling the light to be focused on a specific area. The LR40 is therefore the perfect luminaire for machine tool construction, as its properties meet exactly the requirements set in the industry to a machine lamp. Due to its wide range of properties and configuration options, such as different light temperatures, types of cover, optics and length variants, the LR40 is a true all-rounder among industrial luminaires. It is therefore also suitable for use in sectors such as packaging machines, woodworking machines, printing machines, food processing machines, plastics processing machines, etc. In our successor model, the Eco mode is, of course, also a fixed component. Here, too, the illuminance can be reduced to 30 % by PWM signal. The enlarged cross-section of the conductor paths on the printed circuit boards makes it possible to cascade up to four LR40 luminaires of the longest version. This means that machines can be illuminated over a length of approx. five metres with just one voltage source.
