The Teracom TSA202 is a dual-channel analog input module for the 1-Wire protocol. It measures signals in the 0 to 20 mA or 0 to 10 V range, with the selected mode applied to both channels simultaneously. The Teracom TSA202 is a dual-channel analog input module for the 1-Wire protocol. It acquires analog signals on two inputs and is suitable for industrial and automation measurement tasks with external sensors.

The inputs support two operating modes: 0 to 20 mA current loop or 0 to 10 V voltage input. The selected mode always applies to both analog input channels simultaneously. In 0 to 20 mA mode, the module can handle standard 4 to 20 mA signals and detect values below 4 mA, for example sensor errors or calibration values.

The analog inputs are functionally isolated from the 1-Wire interface. The analog ground GNDS is separated from the interface-side GND to support signal integrity and protection against ground loops.

The raw values in mA or V can be converted in the master controller using an offset and multiplier. This allows use with suitable sensors for electrical and non-electrical parameters such as liquid level, air pressure, gas concentration or pH.

For installation, a linear topology with UTP or FTP cables is recommended. The total cable length should remain within 30 m. Star topology is intended only as a last resort, with up to four sensors and a maximum total cable length of 10 m.
