The Scancon SCH86BEX is a robust Ex hollow shaft encoder that offers maximum reliability in hazardous areas through its permanently installed cable solution. Certification: Globally approved according to ATEX, IECEx, EAC Ex, and Class I Zone 2. Hollow Shaft Design: Through-bores from Ø 5/8" to Ø 1" for direct mounting. Material: Housing available in aluminum or AISI 316 stainless steel (option). Connection: Fixed, MUD-resistant (NEK 606), and halogen-free shielded cable. Protection: High IP 67 (~ Nema 6) protection rating and operating temperature range from -40 °C to +70 °C.
