Description

The Scancon SCH86BEX is a robust, explosion-proof hollow shaft encoder specifically developed for the demands of heavy industry. Thanks to its large hollow shaft bore and removable end cap, it is particularly easy to install. Global Ex Certification: Approved according to ATEX, IECEx, EAC Ex, and North America Class I, Div. 2. Flexible Hollow Shaft Design: Through-bores available from Ø 5/8" to Ø 1". Material Choice: Available in aluminum (Chromital TCP) or high-quality AISI 316 stainless steel for maximum corrosion resistance. Easy Installation: Removable end cap allows for direct on-site wiring. Extreme Protection: IP67 protection rating (standard) and a wide operating temperature range from -40 °C to +70 °C.
