Description

The Scancon EXME Profibus is a certified absolute hollow shaft encoder in stainless steel, developed for integration into Profibus networks in hazardous mining environments. Certification: Globally approved according to ATEX, IECEx, and EAC; Profibus Trade Org. certified. Hollow Shaft Options: Available with bores of 14 mm, 16 mm, or 1 inch. Interface: Profibus DP with DPV2 functionality for advanced diagnostics and parameterization. High Resolution: Combined resolution of up to 30 bits (16-bit singleturn / 14-bit multiturn). Easy Configuration: Device addressing via integrated rotary switches in the removable connection cap. Extreme Protection: Housing protection ratings from IP 64 to IP 68 (waterproof up to 1m for 1h).
