Description

The Scancon EXME SSI is a highly robust, certified absolute encoder in stainless steel, developed for the highest safety requirements in mining and explosive atmospheres. Certification: Globally approved according to ATEX, IECEx, and EAC for mining applications. Interface: Synchronous Serial Interface (SSI) with Binary or Gray code. Housing Design: Robust stainless steel housing (Ø 78 mm) with a removable end cap for flexible field installation. High Resolution: Combined resolution of up to 30 bits (16-bit singleturn / 14-bit multiturn). Extreme Protection: Protection ratings from IP 64 to IP 68 (waterproof up to 1 meter depth for 1 hour). Temperature Range: Reliable operation from -40 °C to +70 °C.
