Description

The Scancon EXME Profibus is a certified absolute encoder in stainless steel, designed for seamless integration into Profibus networks within explosive atmospheres. Certification: Globally approved according to ATEX, IECEx, and EAC for mining applications; certified by the Profibus Trade Org. Interface: Profibus DP with DPV2 functionality and transmission rates up to 12 MBaud. Housing Design: Compact stainless steel body (Ø 78 mm) with a removable end cap for flexible field installation. High Resolution: Combined resolution of up to 30 bits (16-bit singleturn / 14-bit multiturn). Field Configuration: Easy device addressing via integrated rotary switches located in the connection cap. Extreme Protection: Protection ratings from IP 64 to IP 68 (NEMA 6P) for maximum durability.
