Description

English: The Scancon EXME CANopen is a certified absolute encoder in stainless steel, designed for flexible integration into CAN-based networks in explosive atmospheres. Certification: Globally approved according to ATEX, IECEx, and EAC for mining applications. Interface: CANopen protocol according to ISO 11898; galvanically isolated via optocouplers. Housing Design: Robust stainless steel body (Ø 78 mm) with a removable end cap for flexible field installation. High Resolution: Combined resolution of up to 30 bits (16-bit singleturn / 14-bit multiturn). Field Configuration: Simple device addressing via integrated rotary switches in the connection cap. Extreme Protection: Protection ratings from IP 64 to IP 68 (NEMA 6P) for maximum durability.
