Description

The Scancon EXAG Profinet is a high-performance, explosion-proof hollow shaft encoder for integration into industrial Ethernet networks in hazardous areas. Certification: Internationally approved according to ATEX, IECEx, and EAC Ex; certified for North America Class I Div. 2. Interface: Profinet interface supporting Profidrive Profile 4.x and Encoder Profile 4.x. Design: Hollow shaft encoder with 78 mm diameter; options for 14 mm, 16 mm, or 1 inch hollow shafts. Maintenance: Removable end cap allows for easy adjustments and on-site modifications. Precision: Provides a resolution of up to 16-bit per revolution and a 14-bit multiturn range. Material: Housing and cap available in either aluminum or high-quality stainless steel. Protection Rating: Certified for IP 64 to IP 68 (waterproof up to 1 meter depth for 1 hour).
