Description
The Scancon EXAG Profibus is a high-precision, explosion-proof hollow shaft encoder developed for demanding process automation in hazardous areas.
Certification: Internationally approved according to ATEX, IECEx, and EAC Ex for maximum safety in Ex-zones.
Interface: Profibus-DP interface with modern DPV2 functionality.
Design: Hollow shaft encoder with 78 mm diameter and hollow shaft options of 14 mm, 16 mm, or 1 inch.
Flexibility: Removable end cap allows for on-site adjustments; supplied with a permanently attached cable.
Precision: Offers a resolution of up to 16-bit per revolution and a 14-bit multiturn range.
Configuration: Addressing conveniently adjustable via rotary switches in the connection cap.
Protection Rating: Certified for protection ratings from IP 64 to IP 68 (waterproof up to 1 meter depth for 1 hour).
