Description
The Scancon EXAG DeviceNet is a precise, explosion-proof hollow shaft encoder designed for seamless integration into DeviceNet networks in hazardous areas.
Certification: Internationally approved according to ATEX, IECEx, and EAC Ex; certified for North America Class I Div. 2.
Interface: DeviceNet protocol with galvanically isolated transceiver according to ISO 11898.
Design: Hollow shaft encoder with a 78 mm diameter; hollow shaft options include 14 mm, 16 mm, or 1 inch.
Flexibility: Removable end cap for easy on-site adjustments and access to configuration switches.
Resolution: High resolution with up to 16-bit per revolution and a 14-bit multiturn range (30-bit total).
Material: Housing and cap available in either aluminum or high-quality stainless steel for maximum corrosion protection.
Protection Rating: Certified for high protection ratings from IP 64 to IP 68 (waterproof up to 1 meter depth for 1 hour).
