The Scancon EXAG CANopen is a high-precision, explosion-proof hollow shaft encoder designed for reliable integration into CAN bus systems in hazardous areas.
Certification: Internationally approved according to ATEX, IECEx, and EAC Ex; certified for North America Class I Div. 2.
Interface: CANopen protocol according to DS 301; galvanically isolated transceiver according to ISO 11898.
Design: Robust hollow shaft encoder with a 78 mm diameter; hollow shaft options include 14 mm, 16 mm, or 1 inch.
Configuration: Removable end cap provides access to rotary switches for easy device address setting.
Precision: High resolution with up to 16-bit per revolution and a 14-bit multiturn range.
