Description

English: The Scancon EXAG SSI is a versatile, explosion-proof absolute encoder developed for global use in hazardous areas, including North American Class I Div. 2 environments. Certification: Fully approved according to ATEX, IECEx, EAC Ex, and North America Class I Div. 2. Interface: Synchronous Serial Interface (SSI) for precise data transmission up to a distance of 1200 meters. Flexible Design: Removable end cap allows for convenient on-site adjustments and installation. High Resolution: Offers up to 16-bit single-turn resolution and up to 14-bit in multi-turn operation. Material Options: Available in lightweight aluminum (approx. 1600 g) or extremely robust stainless steel (approx. 3100 g). Extreme Protection: Certified from IP64 to IP68 (waterproof up to 1 meter for 1 hour).
