Description

The Scancon EXAG DeviceNet is a robust, explosion-proof absolute encoder specifically developed for integration into DeviceNet networks in safety-critical environments. Certification: Comprehensively approved according to ATEX, IECEx, EAC Ex, and North America Class I Div. 2. Interface: DeviceNet protocol; transceiver according to ISO 11898; supports up to 64 nodes. Flexibility: Removable end cap allows for convenient on-site adjustments and configurations. Resolution: High precision with 16-bit singleturn (65,536 steps) and a 14-bit multiturn range. Material: Housing made of aluminum or stainless steel for maximum mechanical durability. Protection Rating: Certified for IP 64 to IP 68 (waterproof up to 1 meter for 1 hour).
