Description

English: The Scancon EXAG CANopen is a highly flexible, explosion-proof absolute encoder designed for precise integration into CAN networks in safety-critical areas. Certification: Suitable for global use thanks to ATEX, IECEx, EAC Ex, and North America Class I Div. 2 approvals. Interface: CANopen profile according to DS 301; programmable according to Class 2 for versatile configuration options. Maintenance-Friendly: The removable end cap allows for convenient modifications and settings directly on-site. Resolution: High depth of detail with up to 16-bit singleturn (65,536 steps) and up to 14-bit in multiturn mode. Material: Available in either aluminum (approx. 1600 g) or stainless steel (approx. 3100 g) for optimal corrosion protection. Extreme Protection: Available in protection ratings from IP 64 to IP 68 (waterproof up to 1 meter depth for 1 hour).
