Description

The Scancon 2REXI-A is a certified explosion-proof incremental encoder (Ø 68 mm), specifically developed for use in heavy industry as well as the oil and gas sector. It is characterized by its integrated reed contact technology for rotation monitoring. Safety Certification: ATEX and IECEx certified for use in potentially explosive atmospheres. Precision: High resolution with up to 10,000 pulses per revolution (ppr). Special Function: Includes two channels (A, B) in quadrature with an additional reed contact for rotation detection. Robust Design: Aluminum housing, stainless steel shaft (AISI 303), and IP66 protection rating. Flexible Mounting: Shaft diameters available from Ø 8 mm to Ø 16 mm.
