Description

The Scancon 2QEX-A is a certified explosion-proof incremental encoder designed for maximum reliability in harsh and hazardous environments. It combines high precision with flexible mounting options and a robust design. Certification: Fully ATEX and IECEx certified for use in potentially explosive atmospheres. High Resolution: Delivers precise data with up to 12,500 pulses per revolution (ppr). Flexible Mounting: Available with servo or square flange as well as various shaft diameters (Ø 6 mm to Ø 3/8 inch). Industrial Protection: IP67 protection rating (optional IP64–IP66) and high vibration resistance (10 G). Secure Connection: Supplied with a permanently integrated end cap, optionally with cable or MIL / ROTA connectors.
