Description

The Scancon 2CEX-A is a certified explosion-proof incremental encoder for demanding industrial applications in hazardous areas. It combines mechanical robustness with high electrical precision in a compact 68 mm design. Ex Certification: Fully certified according to ATEX and EAC Ex for use in potentially explosive environments. Precision: Offers high resolution of up to 10,000 pulses per revolution (ppr). Construction: Aluminum housing, stainless steel shaft (AISI 303), and a permanently integrated end cap for maximum safety. Shaft Options: Available with shaft diameters of Ø 10 mm, Ø 11 mm, or Ø 5/8 inch. Industrial Standard: Protection rating up to IP67 and a wide operating temperature range from -40 °C to +70 °C.
