Description
The Scancon EXAG SIL2 in the hollow shaft version combines certified functional safety with the flexibility of direct shaft mounting in Ex-areas.
Safety Level: Certified according to IEC 61508 SIL2 for reliable system monitoring.
Communication: Supports PROFIsafe via Profinet; programmable IP address and network parameters.
Certification: Comprehensive approvals including ATEX, IECEx, EAC, and North American Class I Div. 2.
Design: Hollow shaft encoder (78 mm diameter) with hollow shaft options of 14 mm, 16 mm, or 1 inch.
Ease of Assembly: The removable end cap allows for uncomplicated modifications directly on-site.
Performance: Resolution of up to 13-bit per revolution (8,192 steps) and 12-bit multiturn (4,096 revolutions).
