Description
The VScom SER-CAN is a compact converter designed to bridge serial interfaces (RS232/422/485) with CAN bus networks. The unit supports CAN 2.0A (11-bit identifier) and CAN 2.0B (29-bit identifier) standards with baud rates up to 1 MBit/s. Built-in galvanic isolation protects hardware from ground loop currents. Operation is straightforward using ASCII-based commands or emulated software drivers. Its industrial housing and 9-30 V DC wide-range input make it ideal for DIN-rail panel installation.
