Full control with zenon: Safe fuel filling at the Landquart terminal

At the Landquart terminal of Landi Graubünden AG, over one million litres of fuel are processed daily under strict safety standards. The zenon control system from COPA-DATA, combined with Siemens PLCs, ensures maximum reliability, transparency, and operational efficiency.

The system is based on a SIMATIC S7-317PN and communicates via the S7-TCP direct driver from COPA-DATA. Through ET200M I/O modules and ProfiNet, the installation is connected to a redundant fiber ring supported by managed switches and routers with firewalls.

Operational continuity is guaranteed by zenon redundancy. Alarms are handled through zenon Message Control with text-to-speech functionality, keeping staff informed in real time. Historical process data is archived and analyzed using the Extended Trend and Report Generator modules.

The result: maximum reliability, complete control, and safe daily fuel operations in the Landquart facility.
